#2.0 Multiplayer Combat

The is a remake of the original Combat game for Atari 2600. It will have much better graphics and sound. One of the best new features is the ability to play networked games of up to 8 players. You can play networked with up to 8 players via TCP/IP, human vs human split screen, or human vs computer.

---===Game Play Specs===---

-General-

  • Move around trying to destroy the opponents.
  • There are crates that can give:
    • Restore Life
    • Upgrade Armor
    • Upgrade weapons
    • Add more hitpoints to life
  • Scattered around are flags that each person must try to get for points
  • Normal Unit Types
    • Minivan-
    • Jeep-fast, causes little damage
    • Tank-big cannon, slow, causes lots of damage
    • Semi with machineguns
    • Snow Plow-run into your opponents to damage them
    • Robot-lasers
  • Special Unit Types (requires codes / easter eggs)
    • Tricycle w/ Lock-on-missiles
    • Ryder truck-blows up when you crash into something
    • Teletubbies w/ hand grenades
    • Sumo wrestler from China
    • Weinermobile-shoots out hotdogs
    • Barney

-Screens-

  • Main screen
  • Network setup screen-setup the network game, add users, select map
  • Gameplay screen-where all the action and destruction takes place
