A idea that hasn't been used in driving games is overpasses, bridges, and actual mountains and hills. You could create a Twisted Metal with overpasses and have a best seller. You could model a town and don't have levels, just a big town that you could drive around in. Huge jumps, great explosions, and awesome sound effects are a plus.
